Casas da Quinta de Cima occupies a century-old family farm near Cacela Velha, where former workers’ cottages have become generous suites filled with inherited furniture, woven ceilings and pieces gathered over generations. It feels less like arriving at a hotel and more like being welcomed into a private country estate. Mornings begin with fruit from the farm, homemade preserves and eggs cooked to order. Afterwards, cycle to Cacela Velha, walk through the orchards towards Praia da Fábrica or settle beside the white pool with a drink from the honesty bar.
