Aethos Ericeira is set on the cliffs just outside Ericeira, with wide Atlantic views and a strong connection to the ocean. The setting feels open and calm, with the sound of waves and lots of natural light shaping the mood throughout the hotel. While it’s close to town, the atmosphere here is more retreat-like, designed for slowing down rather than ticking off sights. The hotel has a relaxed but upscale vibe. Life at Aethos revolves around the outdoors. Mornings often start with a swim, surf session, or yoga, followed by long breakfasts and relaxed afternoons by the pool. The hotel attracts surfers, couples, and travellers who like an active rhythm balanced with comfort and good food.
