Why we picked this hotel
Domaine de Lézin offers the space of a substantial country house without the formality of a château hotel. With only five bedrooms, shared sitting rooms and a wooded garden, the atmosphere remains genuinely personal.
Hotel description
Hidden in the countryside between Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion, Domaine de Lézin is an intimate guesthouse. The restored 350 m² residence has the ease of a private country home, with Bordeaux stone, old fireplaces, collected furniture and five individually designed bedrooms opening onto a wooded garden. Breakfast is included, afternoons naturally gravitate towards the seasonal heated pool, and the house’s lounges, dining room and games room give guests more space than a conventional small hotel. With room for only 12 people, it works equally well for couples seeking quiet, families travelling together or friends taking over much of the house.
