Hôtel des Dunes sits just behind the Atlantic dunes in Cap Ferret, a few steps from the ocean and close to the lighthouse. It has the easy feeling of a refined beach house, with sandy paths, pine trees, surf air, and the village’s oyster huts and bay beaches nearby. The atmosphere is calm and deliberately pared back, with no televisions in the rooms, furnished balconies or terraces, and a soft West Coast-inspired style. It is made for slow coastal days, bike rides, beach walks, yoga, sauna time, and quiet mornings before heading out across the peninsula.
