Hôtel du Couvent is a peaceful retreat set in a restored 17th-century convent in the heart of Nice’s old town. The building has been beautifully reimagined, preserving its stone arches, cloisters and gardens while introducing warm, minimalist interiors that feel both refined and deeply calming. Each room carries a sense of history and simplicity, with natural materials, soft linens and the quiet charm of the Mediterranean. Behind the old walls are one hectare of terraced gardens, a heated 20-metre pool overlooking Nice, Roman-inspired thermal baths, a resident herbalist, a bakery and three restaurants. It feels remarkably removed from the city despite sitting directly in the Old Town, with the Mediterranean only a few minutes away on foot.
