Why we picked this hotel
The design is reason enough to notice Pulitzer, but the intimate scale, warm public spaces and location between Opéra and the Grands Boulevards make it especially easy to enjoy.
Hotel description
Hôtel Pulitzer Paris is a 44-room boutique hotel in the 9th arrondissement, on Rue du Faubourg Montmartre between Grands Boulevards and the Opéra district. Its current interiors were shaped by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, combining Parisian architectural details, books, vintage references, warm materials and cosy bedrooms designed to feel more residential than formal. The social heart of the hotel is Le Patio, a restaurant and bar wrapped around a planted interior courtyard, alongside library-style lounge spaces that feel removed from the surrounding boulevards. Much of the appeal is in the beautiful design, food, atmosphere and being able to explore much of central Paris on foot.

This is great
Lázaro Rosa-Violán interiors
The renovation brings Parisian Art Deco references together with vintage pieces, layered fabrics, art and a more eclectic contemporary character.
An intimate atmosphere
With only 44 rooms, Pulitzer still has a proper restaurant, bar, lounge areas, books and plenty of space to settle outside your bedroom.
Rooms beneath Paris rooftops
Mansarde categories sit on the top floor, with sloping architecture and views across the courtyard and surrounding rooftops.
A restaurant with a hidden patio
Le Patio combines French and Spanish cooking with an internal courtyard, library, art and a relaxed neighbourhood feel.
Breakfast worth staying in for
The morning buffet brings together fresh pastries, homemade granola, breads, French cheeses and charcuterie.
In the heart of the 9th
Grands Boulevards and Le Peletier are close by, while Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are around ten minutes away on foot.
Our take on the stay
The best thing about Pulitzer is how easy it feels to come back to, with books, art, good food and somewhere inviting to sit beyond your room.
