Why we picked this hotel
Rondaia gives you the privacy of a rented finca without losing the warmth of a small hotel. Every suite and villa has its own entrance, kitchenette and outdoor space, yet breakfast, wine and thoughtful hosting remain close at hand. It is an unusually easy place to settle into for more than a weekend.
Hotel description
In the Sant Pere valley, vineyards rise towards the wooded foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana. Rondaia occupies a four-generation family estate where historic gardens, old water channels and surviving orange trees frame just eight suites and villas. Each has a private terrace and kitchenette, giving the finca the easy privacy of a Mallorcan country home. Mornings begin with local breakfast overlooking the vines before days spent walking through the estate’s forest, swimming or exploring Valldemossa and Palma. Return for a bottle of Rondaia wine from the honesty bar, or book a tasting among the vines. This is a secluded countryside stay for travellers who value space, wine and nature, without feeling cut off from the rest of Mallorca.
Hotel location

This is great
A tiny vineyard stay with real privacy
With just eight suites and villas, Rondaia feels quiet even when full. Each accommodation has its own entrance, kitchenette and private outdoor space.
Wine runs through the whole experience
The family estate has its own organic vineyard and wines, with tastings and wine activities available during your stay.
A vintage pool overlooking the valley
The restored 1960s pool sits between the gardens and Honesty Bar, with loungers, shaded pergolas and views across the vineyards.
Breakfast can come to your terrace
Local and artisan products are served each morning. On request, breakfast can be brought to your suite or villa instead of the dining room.
Suites made for properly settling in
The larger suites include a living room, dining area, kitchenette and a private porch or terrace, giving longer stays a more residential feel.
Well placed between Palma and the mountains
The finca sits in Esporles, close to Palma and at the gateway to the Serra de Tramuntana and Mallorca’s north coast.
Our take on the stay
The vineyard gets the attention, but the estate’s twenty hectares of private woodland may become your favourite place to wander.

About the destination
Mallorca countryside
The Valldemossa area captures a quieter side of Mallorca, where stone villages, olive groves, and winding mountain roads are framed by the dramatic peaks of the Serra de Tramuntana. Beyond Valldemossa itself, vineyards, hiking trails, and peaceful valleys invite a slower pace of life. Rondaia is tucked into this beautiful landscape, offering an authentic winery stay surrounded by nature in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains.
