Spatia Comporta is a spacious, nature-led retreat tucked into the pinewoods near Muda, Grândola, with the Comporta coast just a short drive away. It feels more like a private estate than a typical hotel, with low buildings scattered across the grounds and lots of room to breathe. The mood is quiet and restorative, designed for slow mornings, long walks between the pines, and that proper “switch off” feeling. A big part of the stay is the outdoor life. There are two heated pools (one adults-only, one family-friendly), plus a gym and a dedicated yoga pavilion. You can book spa-style treatments, borrow bikes to explore the area, and settle into easy meals and drinks on-site when you want to stay in. When you do head out, you’re well placed for beach days at Carvalhal, Comporta and Pego, all roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car.
