Eden Locke is a stylish aparthotel on George Street in Edinburgh’s New Town, right in the middle of the city’s best shopping, cafés, and galleries. It’s a great base for exploring because you can walk to Princes Street and the Old Town easily, while still staying in a more elegant, less hectic part of the centre. The studios and suites feel more like smart little apartments than hotel rooms, with a kitchen and lounge area in every unit, which is ideal for longer stays or anyone who likes having extra space. Downstairs, Mayvn is the on-site café for coffee, pastries and light breakfast. There’s no gym or spa in the building, but they do have a nice wellness partnership in the city if you want a yoga class while you’re there.
