Why we picked this hotel
The surprise at Bloom House is how quickly Paris seems to disappear once you come inside. Greenery, zellige, a garden restaurant and a genuinely large pool create a completely different rhythm from the streets outside.

Between Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est and Canal Saint-Martin, Bloom House feels unexpectedly removed from the surrounding city. Greenery, warm Mediterranean-inspired interiors and a plant-filled patio soften the urban setting, while the restaurant, bar and substantial spa give you plenty of reasons to spend time at the hotel itself. The best part is coming back after a full day in Paris. Swim beneath the skylight in the 18-metre pool, move between the jacuzzi and sauna, then settle into the garden for cocktails and dinner. It offers much more of a resort-like rhythm than you would normally expect from a hotel this central.

Bloom Garden opens onto a planted patio with a flower-covered pergola and blue zellige basin, creating a surprisingly secluded place to eat outside.
Mediterranean character by Wunder
Wunder designed the interiors around warm southern references, colourful tiles and planting rather than the usual polished Parisian hotel formula.
Raphaël Gerby now leads the kitchen
Bloom Garden’s current chef brings seasonal, produce-led bistronomy to the restaurant, with menus changing between lunch and dinner throughout the year.
The spa goes well beyond swimming

Some balconies look towards Montmartre
Selected upper-floor rooms add private balconies and views towards Sacré-Cœur, giving the best categories a much stronger sense of place.
Our take on the stay
The pool is the detail I’d build time around. At 18 metres it is long enough for a proper swim, and the skylight above makes it feel far removed from the usual basement hotel spa.
