Hotel description
Casa Llimona is an eight-room boutique hotel inside an 1890 Modernista palauet in Barcelona's Eixample. Designed by Enric V. Sagnier with Joan Rubió i Bellver, the building later became home to members of the Llimona artistic family. Its 2023 renovation restored stained glass, marquetry, marble, mosaic and hydraulic floors while giving the bedrooms a simpler contemporary treatment. This is more intimate historic residence than conventional full-service hotel. There is no restaurant, bar, pool or spa, but several rooms have unusually generous private terraces, and Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló and Plaça de Catalunya are only minutes away on foot.
