Set inside a renovated Grade II-listed building, it mixes old City of London character with a practical, business-friendly feel. This is more polished city base than atmospheric hideaway, but the location is excellent for exploring London on foot. Days can move easily between the Tower of London, Borough Market, the river, St Paul’s and Shoreditch, before returning to a comfortable, straightforward hotel in one of the capital’s most historic neighbourhoods.
