Set inside an 1871 building by Málaga architect Gerónimo Cuervo, its 27 rooms are full of stripes, embroidered linens, vintage furniture and unexpected finds, with Marta de la Rica giving each space enough personality to feel collected over time rather than designed all at once. The old town begins almost as soon as you step outside, so mornings can start around the Picasso Museum and Cathedral before drifting back for a long lunch at La Cocina de Cristine. Málaga's markets shape the menu, the beach is still close enough for an afternoon walk, and every room even comes with its own beach basket when the sea wins out over another museum.
