HOTEL DESCRIPTION
Plácido y Grata is a small design-led boutique hotel in Seville’s historic centre, on Calle Monsalves, close to the Museum of Fine Arts and an easy walk to the Cathedral. It’s calm, stylish and quietly confident, with Danish-inspired interiors that feel warm and uncluttered. Despite being very central, it has a peaceful, low-noise feel that makes it a great base for exploring the city on foot. Breakfast is served daily, and the hotel also has a café and a relaxed bar for coffee or drinks. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel experience as well, making it easy to keep things simple without planning every meal. Plácido y Grata suits travellers who want a refined, smaller hotel with great design, friendly service and a location that puts Seville’s best streets and sights within easy reach.
Our take on the stay
Bob

I chose Plácido y Grata because it feels like a tucked-away Sevillian home rather than a standard hotel. You step inside to a quiet patio, start the day with breakfast in-house, then head out to explore the old town without needing taxis.
