Just a short walk from Warsaw’s Old Town, PURO is the kind of city hotel that makes coming back almost as enjoyable as going out. The interiors by GamFratesi are warm, colourful and full of great art, while downstairs MUND moves easily from long breakfasts and fresh pastries to wine, dinner and late drinks. Spend the day wandering Warsaw, then come back for a sauna before heading upstairs for rooftop drinks with the city stretching out around you. Weekend breakfast runs until 12:30, the Old Town is close enough to reach on foot, and there is always something happening downstairs. It is an easy, fun base for a few days in Warsaw, with enough going on that you will actually want to spend time at the hotel too.

A proper sauna and gym downstairs
The hotel has a fully equipped Technogym fitness room and dry sauna, both available daily from 06:00 to 22:00.
Art inspired by the theatres next door
The collection takes the nearby Grand Theatre and National Theatre as its starting point, mixing Polish and international contemporary artists.
Culture is built into the stay

MUND is worth treating as part of the stay rather than just the hotel restaurant. It starts the day as a bakery, becomes a Nordic restaurant and wine bar, then carries on upstairs at the rooftop after dinner.
